The shield\/visor moves in an eccentric line when it is closed or opened, which prevents it from rubbing against the window beading for smooth operability. The window beading also matches the helmet's classic design, while its rim shape enhances airtightness. Doing so may cause the PINLOCK® EVO lens to come into contact with the window beading, which may damage either the lens or the window beading.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e1: Put your finger on the shield tab and push the shield\/visor forward to release the lock.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e2: To open, raise the shield\/visor.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe shield\/visor is held in place by screws, and can be adjusted while installed. These shutterless intakes are designed to be always open, with aluminum mesh filters that accent the design. The air drawn in from the lower air intakes and the front air intake on the front of the helmet runs through the air channels of the impact absorbing liner and is discharged from the base of the neck, ensuring that the inside of the helmet remains comfortable even when riding on a hot day.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWind is drawn into the helmet from the two air intake holes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eINTERIOR PARTS\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eInterior components provide a comfortable fit\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eAs with other SHOEI Neo-Classic series helmets, raised fabric is used inside the helmet. Synthetic nubuck leather is used on the area close to the eye port to cut down on shield\/visor glare. Also, synthetic leather is used on the parts where the skin tends to rub against the fabric when the rider puts on or takes off the helmet. This material has a glossy look that is less susceptible to soiling. All interior parts can be removed and washed to keep them clean and sanitary.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eE.Q.R.S.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eSystem for emergency removal of the helmet, in the event of an accident\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe E.Q.R.S. (Emergency Quick Release System) allows the helmet to be easily removed by someone else, in the event that the rider is in an accident and requires rapid emergency assistance. The E.Q.R.S. features a special ribbon on the cheek pads that hold the rider’s cheeks, which can be pulled during an emergency to remove the cheek pads from the helmet.
